The Chiadero – The Shake Drum is a groundbreaking hybrid instrument that merges the expressive qualities of a frame drum and shaker into one cohesive design. Developed in collaboration with Tomas Millner and Danilo Raimondo, it redefines traditional percussion by bridging the worlds of frame drums, panderos, dafs, tambourines, and shakers.

Crafted from multi-layered beech wood and fitted with a hand-selected goatskin head, the Chiadero offers a warm, organic tone. Its defining innovation lies in the integrated shaker system, which blends seamlessly with the drum’s natural resonance—adding motion, texture, and rhythmic complexity to every performance.

The larger 16" format provides greater depth, projection, and low-end presence, making it ideal for immersive solo performances, studio recordings, and dynamic live sets.

With built-in tuning screws, players can precisely adjust the head tension to shape tone, sensitivity, and response—unlocking a wide spectrum of sonic possibilities.
