Developed by sound healer and percussionist Douglas Cardwell in collaboration with Dragonfly Percussion, the Lotus³ Mallets are an innovative 3-in-1 solution for sound healers, designed to seamlessly play both crystal singing bowls and gongs—without the need to switch mallets.
Each Lotus³ mallet features a soft silicone handle that produces whisper-soft fade-ins and fade-outs when used to sing the rim of a bowl. One end is fitted with a denser silicone ball for more robust friction techniques on the side of bowls. On the opposite end, choose between two expertly wrapped mallet heads depending on the model:
- Lotus³ Alpha – Equipped with our popular Resonance Medium Soft gong mallet wrapped in rust-colored fleece, perfect for warm gong strokes and deep tonal activation.
- Lotus³ Beta – Features a smaller, purple fleece-wrapped mallet head designed for safely striking singing bowls with clarity and subtlety, while also performing beautifully on gongs.
