The JW4 features a round synthetic core with brass inserts for enhanced projection and balanced weight distribution. A latex layer beneath the synthetic yarn wrap provides additional warmth and tonal depth. The lacquered birch handles offer a silky-smooth finish similar to rattan but with greater durability and less flexibility.
