Instructions

Step 1: Cleaning with Meinl Sonic Energy Handpan Cleaner

1. Spray the cleaner on the handpan’s playing surface from approximately 8 inches (20 cm) away, ensuring even coverage.
2. Let the cleaner sit for 3 minutes.
3. Wipe off completely using the provided dry, non-lint microfiber cloth.
4. Repeat the process for any stubborn stains.

Step 2: Protecting with Meinl Sonic Energy Stainless Steel Handpan Protectant

1. Shake the protectant bottle before use.
2. Spray the protectant onto an absorbent cloth (do not spray directly on the handpan).
3. Rub the handpan with the cloth for even coverage. If an oil film remains, the surface may appear irregular.
4. Allow to dry for 1-2 minutes, then polish with a dry cloth.
5. Let the protectant fully dry for 4-5 hours before playing.

Repeat this process as needed every few days or weeks, depending on your handpan’s condition.
