Historical Context
- Produced during a time of great innovation for Deagan, the Vibra-Harp was highly regarded for its sound quality and engineering.
- The Model 30 was a smaller version of their larger vibraphones, making it more portable and suitable for smaller venues or studios.
- This instrument was popular among jazz musicians and orchestras during the swing era.
Legacy
- Deagan instruments, particularly their vibraphones, are prized among collectors and musicians for their craftsmanship and sound.
- Post-WWII, production shifted focus, and newer models replaced the Model 30. However, its vintage charm and historical significance make it a collector's item.
