Summer Drumline – Beginning Level

June 10, 17, 24 & July 8, 15, 22

Looking to jumpstart your marching percussion journey? The Summer Drumline – Beginning Level is the perfect introduction for students new to marching percussion or percussion in general. Led by experienced educator and performer Kyle Waggoner, this class focuses on fundamental technique, stroke development, and an introduction to rudiments. Students will also work on shorter musical selections, helping them build confidence and skills in a supportive environment.

This program is designed to establish a strong technical foundation while making learning engaging and accessible for beginners. Whether you're preparing for a school drumline or simply want to explore the world of marching percussion, this class will set you up for success!

Meet Your Instructor – Kyle Waggoner

Kyle Waggoner holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado and has been actively teaching and performing in the Denver area since 2015. With a performance background that includes Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps, Rise Percussion, The Pride of the Rockies Marching Band, and the Colorado Eagles Drumline, Kyle brings a wealth of knowledge to his students.

Currently serving as the Inventory Manager at Denver Percussion, Kyle also performs with the Denver Nuggets Skyline Drumline and Pan Generations Steel Pan Band. His experience as both a performer and educator ensures that students will receive expert guidance in technique and musical development.
